Interlaced Stereoscopic Rendering

Active shutter glasses  (goggles) and interlaced stereo images offer a much better quality compared to anaglyphs and red-blue images.  The following images were rendered using 3D Studio MAX.  To view the images and experience the stereoscopic effect it is necessary to save the images on your hard disk and then view them using the Virtual Reality Image Viewer that came with your shutter glasses.  If every thing works fine, you will see the front parts of the model popping out of the screen and the rear parts of the model sinking back.  Without shutter glasses the images will appear flat and  fuzzy.  For those of you without shutter glasses try the same models in the anaglyph page.
